How many sessions do I need?
We recommend that you receive 3-4 treatments per area. The exact number depends on the area being treated.
Is the treatment painful?
Venus Viva radiofrequency skin resurfacing treatments might be uncomfortable, but they are not painful. However, you will feel the heat, almost like a sunburn, and your face will look red after the treatment. You may ask for a topical numbing cream to reduce discomfort.
What is needed after treatment?
It is best if you do not touch or scratch the treated areas. Only apply products recommended by your treatment provider for the first 24 hours. After 24 hours, apply sunscreen of at least SPF 30 and look for one without chemicals. Avoid rigorous exercise, hot baths, or massages in the treatment area for at least 28 hours after your sessions. Keep your skin clean and protected and avoid any tanning.
